What Makes Our 6 Panel Steel Security Door Different?
The six-panel design is more than a visual choice. The raised panel layout adds structural rigidity to the door leaf, helping it resist twisting and warping over time. Combined with our 50mm thick door leaf, made from two layers of 1.0mm pre-lacquered Zintec steel, this door is built to perform for decades.
Inside the leaf, a fibreglass core is bonded directly to the steel plates. This gives the door solid thermal and acoustic resistance, which is something you simply do not get with a standard hollow-core door. The two internal steel strengthening supports running through the leaf add an extra layer of rigidity, making forced entry extremely difficult.
Security Features Built In From the Start
Our heavy duty security doors do not rely on a single lock to keep you safe. Every door comes with a 9-point locking system pre-installed, with two additional shoot bolts firing into the top of the frame. The locking mechanism itself is drill and impact proof, and two anti-jemmy hinge bolts stop the door from being levered open at the hinges. The 15mm anti-jemmy lip running around all four edges of the door leaf closes off any gap an intruder might try to exploit.
This is what sets a 6 panel steel security door apart from a decorative-only option. It looks good and locks down properly.

We offer our panelled security doors in three adjustable size ranges to cover most standard openings:
- 830mm to 890mm x 2075mm
- 880mm to 940mm x 2075mm
- 980mm to 1040mm x 2075mm
The expandable frame mechanism on the two larger sizes means you do not need a perfectly precise opening to get a good fit.
Four heavy duty lift-off hinges are included as standard, offering both security and easy removal if ever needed during installation.
