The leaf chamber is filled with fibreglass material bonded to each skin, giving the door both thermal resistance (2.2W/m2K) and acoustic properties. Two steel strengthening supports run through the full height of the leaf, and a 15mm anti-jemmy lip runs to all edges, making forced entry significantly harder.
Four heavy-duty lift-off hinges are pre-fitted to the door, offering a reliable and secure installation. The 2.0mm cold-rolled steel frame is powder coated to match and features an expandable mechanism, meaning it adjusts to fit structural openings between 880mm and 1160mm without the need for custom sizing in most cases.
Exidor Panic Bar Hardware as Standard
This product comes fitted with an Exidor 294 two-point locking fire exit door with panic bar as standard. The Exidor 294 is a tried and tested piece of hardware, widely specified by architects and building contractors across the UK. It operates via a simple push motion from the inside, allowing fast, unobstructed exit in an emergency.

The fire exit door push bar mechanism allows the door to be opened from the inside at any time. For buildings that also need controlled external access, an Exidor outer access device can be added as an optional extra. This allows keyholders to enter from outside while the panic bar remains fully operational from within, maintaining emergency egress at all times.

The door arrives pre-hung in its frame with weather sealing fitted to all four sides and a removable stainless steel threshold included.
